About Hazel's Footprints Trust

Hazel's Footprints Trust was set up in 2004 in memory of Hazel Scott Aiton whose tragic death in a car accident in August 2004, at the age of 21, left an unfillable hole in the lives of all who knew her.

Hazel spent a year at the Otjikondo Village School in 2002. Working in a remote location, she saw first-hand what an enormous difference a committed, dedicated and compassionate person could make to the lives of others. Through the Trust we aim to be able to help give many others the chance to share their skills and energies in deserving parts of the world and to benefit from all that that experience can give.

Our official aims can be viewed to the right. By visiting our mother site - www.hazelsfootprints.org, you can find out a whole lot more including details of some of the projects we have supported to date.

If you have a project you would like the Trust to support then please visit the Hazel's Footprints website to find out how to apply and then write to info@hazelsfootprints.org.

Our Aims
• To advance education for the public benefit by the provision of financial assistance to people embarking on a period of voluntary work overseas;

• To promote the charitable purposes of the Otjikondo Village School Foundation, Namibia, through the provision of an annual donation;

• To relieve poverty and advance education elsewhere in the world by the provision of occasional grants to educational establishments in impoverished countries. Learn more about our third aim.
