We're delighted to announce that the 2010 Highland Fling raised over £23,000. To all those who attended, we hope you had a great time. We've loaded some photos onto the website which can be viewed by clicking here.
We had some very special prizes and lots kindly donated in 2010 including VIP Paddock Club tickets to the 2011 British Grand Prix, holiday houses in France, Norfolk and Scotland, cupcake making classes, luxury hampers and cases of wine. We are so grateful to all those who make the event possible each year by donating prizes, services or indeed their valuable time. In particular there is a group individuals who make up the Fling committee. These people juggle their work and play to find time to create a memorable evening for all; this year they were: Peter, Lucy, Chris, JoJo, Bryony, Lucy, Jo, and Kirsty. |
The Hazel's Footprints Highland Fling first took place in 2008. After three years and with a loyal crowd of 'Flingers', the event has raised over £50,000 for the Trust's third aim. Following a champagne reception, three course meal, auction, prize draw, reeling to our ceilidh band and dancing to our DJ we hope our guests depart in the wee small hours feeling satisfactorily flung. Alongside the revelry, the event is an opportunity to tell people about Hazel's Footprints Trust and some of the amazing projects the Trust has been able to support thanks to the generosity of so many wonderful people.
