The Third Aim
Third Aim Projects

••• To relieve poverty and advance education elsewhere in the world by the provision of occasional grants to educational establishments in impoverished countries •••

We realise this is a big one to tackle. We also understand we may not be able to change the world. But to quote one of Hazel's many hoarded quotes and the motto of Otjokondo School:

"the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

Through the third aim the Trust have given grants to buy much need school books in Tanzania, helped to purchase a tractor in Uganda, funded the building of a whole library in Cameroon, a basketball court in Kenya and a football field in Namibia, financed an education programme for orphans in Vietnam and paid for sign language training for two teachers in Kenya.

We are always ready to listen to people's ideas for projects they'd like us to support. If you know of a project or have one of your own which will be properly administered, sustainable and be in keeping with our aims then please do get in touch.
